Hi, I'm George

Weekly Ads & Deals Specialist · 10+ Years Experience

I've been obsessively tracking weekly store ads for over a decade. What started as a way to save money on groceries turned into a full-blown passion for understanding how retail promotional systems work — and how to make them work for you.

I'm based in the Czech Republic, but I've spent over a decade obsessively tracking US store ads from across the Atlantic. I spend entirely too much time reading weekly flyers, testing coupon strategies, and figuring out exactly when Kroger will put chicken thighs on sale. This site is where I share everything I've learned.

My Story

It started simply enough — I became fascinated by US retail culture and the weekly ad system that most American shoppers ignore. Living in the Czech Republic, I started following US store flyers online and noticed that prices could vary dramatically from week to week. What I found surprising was how few people actually used them strategically.

Over time, I became the person my friends and family called when they needed to know the best time to buy something, or which store had the best deal on chicken this week. I started tracking patterns, learning the promotional cycles, and building strategies around them.

After 10 years of doing this informally, I decided to write it all down. That's how 111Catalogues.com was born — a place where I share everything I've learned about making US weekly store ads work for savvy shoppers, whether they're stateside or just deal-curious from anywhere in the world.

What I Cover

  • Store Guides: In-depth breakdowns of 15+ retailers — when their ads drop, what deals to expect, coupon policies, and specific money-saving strategies tailored to each chain.
  • Deal Strategies: How to stack coupons, use loss leaders strategically, time your purchases, and stack loyalty rewards for maximum savings.
  • Seasonal Calendars: My personal guide to when prices hit their lowest across categories — produce, meat, household items, and more.
  • Store Comparisons: Honest head-to-head comparisons of retailers to help you decide where your shopping dollar goes furthest.

My Approach

I don't publish fake prices or claim specific discounts I can't verify. Store policies change, prices fluctuate, and weekly ads vary by region. What I provide is accurate, durable information: how systems work, when cycles run, and what strategies consistently produce real savings.

I focus on mechanics over specific deals. A post telling you chicken is $1.49/lb this Wednesday is useful for one day. A guide explaining that Kroger runs its best meat promotions mid-week, and exactly how to load digital coupons before you go, is useful for years.

That's what I build. Practical, durable, grounded in how retail actually works.
